Manage Users
Settings › Team is where you see the people in your company and manage their access. What you can do there depends on your role.
Roles
There are two roles.
| Role | What it can do |
|---|---|
| Admin | Everything a Member can do, plus invite new users, disable and restore them, and resend an invitation. |
| Member | Use the dashboard and see the Team page in read only. Members cannot invite, disable or restore anyone. |
Whoever creates the company becomes its Admin automatically. From there, the Admin invites everyone else.
If you need to change or create a new Admin, contact [email protected].
Seats
A company has a fixed number of seats, and both active and invited users take one. An invitation that nobody has accepted yet still occupies a seat.
The counter above the table shows where you stand, for example 4 / 5 seats used.
When every seat is taken, inviting a new user fails until one frees up. To free a seat, disable a user you no longer need: the seat returns immediately and the person keeps their history, so you can restore them later.
User Statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Active | The user has signed in and uses their own password. |
| Invited | The user has been invited but has never signed in. Hover the status to see the invitation date. |
| Disabled | Access has been revoked. The user holds no seat and cannot sign in. |
Inviting a User
- Open Settings › Team and click Create User.
- Fill in first name, last name and email address. The role is Member.
- Click Send Invite.
The person receives an email with a temporary password, valid for 24 hours, and appears in the table as Invited. Once they sign in and set their own password, they become Active.
The email must use one of your company domainsYou can only invite addresses on a domain that belongs to your company. An address on any other domain is refused.
Resending an Invitation
A temporary password expires after 24 hours. If the person did not use it in time, admin can resend the invite.
Two things to know:
- You can resend once every 24 hours. Before that, the button refuses, because the password they already have is still valid.
- The new email replaces the old one. As soon as you resend, the previous temporary password stops working.
Disabling and Restoring a User
Use the red circle icon to disable someone. Trustfull asks you to confirm, then:
- They can no longer sign in, and any session they have open ends immediately.
- Their seat is freed.
- Their row stays in the table as Disabled, so nothing is lost.
To bring them back, use the restore icon on their row.
Restoring a user takes a seat again. If every seat is in use, free one first.
